Prince Albert RCMP have identified the man who whose body was found in the North Saskatchewan River last week.  His death is not considered suspicious.

This past Tuesday a man’s body was found in the river near the Cecil Ferry

Upon investigation, the man has been identified as a 39-year-old from Leask. His family has been notified and they have asked his identity not be made public.

Early reports indicate the man’s death is not suspicious in nature.

Prince Albert RCMP, in partnership with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, continues to investigate.
