The town of La Ronge has called a byelection for November 30.
This is to fill the spot of the late councillor Hugh Watt, who died in August.
After a position on council becomes available, the town has six months to hold a byelection.
Calling for a byelection is usually done at the meeting following the death, which would have been Aug. 17, however, La Ronge town council said it was too soon.
