Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for a 27-year-old man in relation to an armed robbery on the Muscowpetung First Nation in 2019.
Police say the incident happened at a local business in the community in March of that year.
Jarret Poitras is charged with robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent and pointing a firearm.
The arrest warrant was issued after he failed to appear for a Regina court hearing Friday.
Poitras is described as 5’11” tall, weighing 250 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
Officers say his last known location was Regina but he is also known to frequent the Muscowpetung
First Nation and Pasqua First Nation.
Mounties say Poitras is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or your local RCMP detachment.
