SaskPower crews are continuing their work to restore power to communities in the north after a wildfire damaged transmission lines.
The company is now estimating they will be restoring power to affected communities between 6 and 8 p.m. tonight. With restoration of power coming, SaskPower is asking people who are running personal generators to turn them off around 6 p.m. in preparation for power to return. This is being recommended to protect residents safety and to prevent feedback on power lines. The company is hoping to have everyone’s power restored by 8 p.m.
