Meadow Lake RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for a 19-year-old man in relation to a shooting incident in the city on Tuesday night.

Mounties say they responded to a report of shots being fired outside a business in the 600 block of 1st Avenue just before midnight.

Police say two groups of individuals got into an altercation outside the business and a firearm was discharged multiple times with one round entering the windshield of a bystander.

No injuries were reported and RCMP believe the altercation was gang-related.

Raheem Hagan is charged with discharge of a firearm with intent and reckless discharge of a firearm.

He is described as 6’ 2” tall, weighing 187 lbs, with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes.

Police say Hagan may be headed to Edmonton but this has not been confirmed.

He is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
