The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 141 active COVID-19 cases in their communities Tuesday.
The far northeast reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases with 78. The far northwest reported the second highest number of cases with 35, followed by the northeast which had 10. The north central region reported three active cases.
NITHA said currently six people are in hospital while the number of recoveries is sitting at 2,959.
The Athabasca Health Authority reported 14 active cases in their region Tuesday. Since their last report their have been no new cases and seven more people have recovered.
For Athabasca communities, Black Lake has the most active cases with 13, two people from the community are in hospital. Fond-du-Lac reported one active cases with one person in hospital.
