The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 94 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Friday.

The far northeast reported the most active cases with 65. The far northwest reported the second highest number of active cases with 16. The northeast region reported eight active cases while the north central zone had no active cases.

NITHA said three people are currently in hospital while the number of recoveries is sitting at 3,145.

The Athabasca Health Authority reported 11 active cases Friday. The health authority said since their last report they have seen six more people test positive for the virus. No new recoveries were reported.

Of Athabasca communities, Black Lake reported nine active cases, with two people in hospital. Fond-du-Lac reported two active cases with two people in hospital.
