La Ronge RCMP said Wednesday they have carried out two search warrants in recent days as part of drug investigations.
According to RCMP the first warrant was executed on Feb 25 at a residence on Myles Venne Street. Police said they took seven people into custody and seized, methamphetamine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, cash and a vehicle.
Juanita Halkett has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime and failing to comply with a release order.
Stephen McKenzie, Damien McKenzie and Henry Sanderson have been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
Damien McKenzie has also been charged with failing to comply with a release order.
Halkett was in court March 1 and released, she is set to return to court March 8, while the other three have been released and are set to appear in court in April.
The three other people taken into custody were released without charges.
The second warrant was executed on March 1 at a residence on Brown Street and saw five people taken into custody according to RCMP.
Police said during their search they found cocaine, drug paraphernalia, firearms, cash, a vehicle and electronics.
Allard Halkett, Steve Halkett, Sarah McKenzie, Shelley Natomagan and Gail Bradfield are all charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
All five have been released from custody and are set to be in court in May.
