Voters in the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation will be going to the polls in April.

An election poster on the PBCN Facebook page says a general election for chief and council will be held Tuesday April 13.

Aside from chief, there are 14 council positions up for grabs as well as 12 positions on the council of elders.

Advance polling will take place in a number of communities on April 8 including Prince Albert, Saskatoon, La Ronge, Pelican Narrows, Sandy Bay, Southend and Deschambault Lake.

Nomination meetings will be held on Mar. 23 and an all-candidates forum will be held the same day.
