The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 282 active COVID-19 cases in their communities Wednesday.
The far northeast region reported the most active cases with 106. The northeast zone had the second highest number of active cases with 77, followed by the far northwest which had 54 cases. Meanwhile the north central region reported 14 active cases.
According to NITHA the far north central Athabasca region had 31 active cases.
NITHA said six people are in hospital and the number of recoveries sits at 2,430.
