The signings keep coming for the La Ronge Ice Wolves.

The Ice Wolves have inked 2003-born forward Cash Arntsen to a letter of intent. The Swift Current, SK product was the first overall selection in the 2018 SJHL Bantam Draft by La Ronge.

He tallied five points in six games this season with the Swift Current Legionnaires.

“My game has really improved, I still play that hard, physical game that they originally picked me for,” said Arntsen. “I got more elements now (to my game). I’m faster, stronger and shoot better. Better playmaking. I just got better kind of all around since they picked me.”

Meanwhile, the Ice Wolves have also signed 2003-born defenceman Parker Layton to a letter of intent.

Layton is from La Ronge and has spent the 2020-21 season with the Warman Wildcats in the U18 AAA ranks.
