The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 383 active COVID-19 cases in their communities Wednesday.

The far northwest region reported the highest number of cases with 126. The far northeast reported the second highest number of cases with 103. The northeast zone is reporting 99 active cases and the north central region has 13.

NITHA said 15 people were in hospital and also reported the number of recoveries at 2,168.

The Athabasca Health Authority in the far north central part of the province said they had 20 active COVID-19 cases in their region Wednesday. This is an increase of four from their previous report.

The community of Black Lake continues to report the most active cases with 18, four people from the community are currently in hospital. Meanwhile Fond-du-Lac is reported two active cases with two people in hospital.
