Eight members of the La Ronge Ice Wolves have been selected for the SJHL’s virtual showcase event.
Narek Aleksanyan, Adam McNutt, Logan Holm, Spencer Kennedy, Holden Knights, Nolan Doell, Aaron Greyeyes and Xavier Cannon were picked.
“The SJHL recognizes that the supply chain for hockey players has not stopped as colleges are still looking to fill roster spots,” said the SJHL on its website.
“This initiative has been created to help provide some added exposure for the great young talents in our league. This will give scouts and fans the opportunity to familiarize themselves with some of the top players in the SJHL.”
Players will be inserted into the video game NHL 21 and games will simulated. The showcase takes place Friday and Saturday.
