Onion Lake RCMP say they have taken three people into custody after a vehicle chase that began near Paradise Hill on Tuesday evening.
Police say the chase led them over the North Saskatchewan Bridge and continued north along Highway 17.
Officers say the vehicle eventually pulled into the driveway of a residence and seven suspects fled on foot into the bushes.
RCMP say they found two firearms, ammunition and drugs inside the vehicle.
The two adult females and adult male who have been taken into custody are from the Onion Lake Cree Nation.
The other four suspects are still at large and considered armed and dangerous.
