There are 318 active cases of COVID-19 in the north according to the latest numbers from the Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA).
The far northeast region has the most active cases with 130. The far northwest has the second highest number of cases at 86. The north central region is reporting 59 and the northeast has 31.
Athabasca in the far north central is reporting 13 active cases according to that areas’ regional health authority. Nine active cases are being reported in Fond-du-Lac, while Black Lake has four.
According to NITHA 10 people are currently in hospital while 648 recoveries are being reported.
