The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) is reporting 306 active cases of COVID-19.
The health authority said the numbers are accurate as of Dec. 1. When it comes to regional breakdown, the far northeast is reporting the most cases at 117. The far northwest currently has 80 cases, the northeast has 51 and north central is reporting 36. Athabasca currently has 22 active cases.
Eight people from NITHA’s area are currently in hospital. So far 417 people have recovered.
