Prince Albert will soon have a drive thru COVID-19 testing site.
In a media release sent out Monday afternoon, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) said a site will be opening Dec. 2 at The Cone Shop Car Wash on 890 6th Ave. E The site will be running seven days a week and will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The SHA said the site is being opened to meet an increased demand for testing. People looking to get tested will need to bring their health card and the site will be operating on a first come, first serve basis. It is also advised that everyone inside a vehicle be members of the same family bubble.
The city’s current test site is continuing to operate with booked appointments coming from doctor or 811 referrals.
