A school in the northern community of Southend has been closed after an individual there tested positive for COVID-19.
The information was posted on the Reindeer Lake School Facebook page by school principal Gail Clarke late Tuesday.
According to the post, contact tracing is underway and the community is working with the Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority.
Southend, which is located about 221 kilometres northeast of La Ronge, is part of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation.
