The Pre-Cam Community School in La Ronge will reopen to in-class instruction Tuesday.

The school was closed October 13, after an individual tested positive for COVID-19.

The Northern Lights School Division said testing has revealed that three students and two staff are positive for the virus.

The School Division said that contact tracing is now complete and that under the advice and direction of the Medical Health Officer, the school can reopen tomorrow.

Two classes will be learning remotely until October 27, that being Grade One English and Grade Three French.

The School Division explained that students in these classes will be contacted about staying at home and learning remotely.

“In collaboration with Saskatchewan Health Authority’s Public Health Inspectors, Pre-Cam Community School has completed a deep clean and sanitization,” said the School Division in a letter to parents late Sunday.
