Prince Albert RCMP are investigating two break-and-enters in the Christopher Lake area that happened early Wednesday morning.

The first break-in happened in Christopher Lake, around 2 a.m. when three male suspects wearing black and white bandanas over their faces forced their way into a home.

After an altercation with the homeowners, the suspects stole a Ford Ranger and Pontiac G5 from the property.

The Pontiac was later located near Northside and the Ford Ranger on the Little Red River reserve.

The second break-in happened around 9 a.m. at a resort residence near Christopher Lake with some tools stolen.

Police believe the two break-ins are related.
