Correctional Service Canada says a 43-year-old inmate escaped from the Willow Cree Healing Lodge early Wednesday morning.
Willow Cree is a minimum-security federal institution located near Duck Lake.
Royce Badger is described as 5’ 5” tall, weighing 141 lbs, with a fair complexion, brown eyes and black hair.
He is serving a two-year sentence for possession of property under $5,000 obtained by crime, flight from a peace officer, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and forgery.
Anyone with information is asked to contact their local police detachment.
