Prince Albert police are investigating after a female inmate died at Pine Grove Correctional Centre Wednesday night.
A provincial government press release says the inmate was found unresponsive in her cell around 7 p.m.
It says the death is not related to COVID-19 and has been referred to the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
