The travel ban in the entire northwest will be lifted Monday.

This comes after the region has had low new COVID-19 cases for quite some time and following an outbreak in La Loche approximately one month ago.

Outdoor gatherings will increase to 20 people, with indoor gatherings limited to ten, with appropriate two-meter distancing.

La Loche will also be allowed to participate in Phase 1 and 2 of the reopening plan. Phase 3, which starts for the province Monday has been delayed in the entire northwest until further notice.

No new cases were reported Tuesday.
