RCMP are looking to the public for information on the death of a 29-year-old man earlier this week.
Shortly before 4 a.m. Wednesday, police were called about a disturbance at a home on the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
Officers located 29-year-old Muhammad Venne with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead. The cause of death has not been released.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating and an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow in Saskatoon.
So far, there is no word on a suspect or charges.
Anyone who was in contact with or had seen Muhammad Venne in the last week is asked to contact La Ronge RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
