Prince Albert police say a five-year-old girl who was one of the victims in a brutal attack that left three others dead in late March, continues to recover in a Saskatoon hospital.

The girl’s seven-year-old brother Bentlee and grandparents Denis Carrier and Sandra Henry, both 56, died as a result of injuries sustained in the attack.

A press release says young Kendrah has endured eight surgeries in recent weeks.

The attack happened on the last weekend in March in a residence at 315 MacArthur Drive in Prince Albert.

Twenty-eight-year-old Nathaniel Carrier, the father of the children and son of Carrier and Henry, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
