RCMP have laid charges in a hit and run collision that killed an Onion Lake Cree Nation man almost two years ago.
The body of 31-year-old Shane Opissinow was found in a slough on the First Nation in May 2018.
Danny Boy Thunder Makokis, also 31, of Onion Lake is charged with failure to remain at the scene of an accident.
He is due to make his first court appearance on April 1 in Onion Lake.
