A 21-year-old male from North Battleford has been charged with murder in the death of 22-year-old Sequin Mooswa.
North Battleford RCMP received a request to check on the well-being of Mooswa on Sunday.
Mooswa was found deceased by RCMP at a residence on the 1900 block of St. Laurent Drive in North Battleford.
An autopsy was conducted on Monday in Saskatoon.
21-year-old Keenan Mirasty is facing a charge of second-degree murder and appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on Tuesday.
The investigation remains ongoing.
