An 18-year-old male has been charged with the murder of a 17-year-old male which took place on Friday night on the Star Blanket Cree Nation.
Officers found the deceased male at his residence after responding to a report about an altercation at approximately 8:35 p.m.
Shauntay Keewatin was arrested shortly after and has been charged with second-degree murder.
Keewatin was scheduled to appear Fort Qu’Appelle Provincial Court on Monday morning.
