Five people have been arrested in La Ronge after RCMP received a noise complaint and a report about an assault.
RCMP responded to a complaint about a loud gathering at a home in La Ronge just after midnight on Tuesday.
Witnesses later reported that a male was assaulted inside the residence and described the suspect’s vehicle.
Officers quickly located the vehicle at another residence.
Four people were arrested outside and one person was arrested inside the residence.
Officers say they also located and seized a sawed-off shotgun.
The investigation continues and no charges have been laid.
