The SJHL/MJHL Showcase event kicks off in Regina this morning.
Some of the top players from the SJHL will face off with elite players in the MJHL in an all-star tournament with scouts in attendance. Each league has three teams taking part in the action.
Aaron Greyeyes, Daylon Mannon, Kyle Ford, James Philpott and Jake Gudjonson of the La Ronge Ice Wolves were selected to represent the SJHL. Ice Wolves Head Coach and GM Kevin Kaminski is also helping coach one of the SJHL teams.
The first game gets underway at 11 a.m. For up-to-date results, you can check out the SJHL’s website.
Meantime, the La Ronge Ice Wolves are back in action next Wednesday at home when the Weyburn Red Wings come to town for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.
