RCMP say two 19-year-old men from the Onion Lake Cree Nation are facing various charges in relation to a stolen vehicle incident and flight from police on Wednesday.
Mounties say while attending to a report of a stolen vehicle in the community two suspects attempted to ram police vehicles at low speed before escaping the scene.
The abandoned vehicle was located a short time later and the suspects were tracked and arrested by police.
The two face charges of assaulting a police officer, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.
