In bantam B action, the La Ronge Ice Wolves edged the Humboldt Broncos 5-4 Friday night at the Mel Hegland Uniplex.

Kendon Skalicky scored twice for the Ice Wolves and also added an assist. The Ice Wolves will look to wrap up the series Feb. 8 on the road in Humboldt.

On Sunday in midget B play, the La Ronge 89ers lost 5-0 in Unity to the Lazers. The 89ers will try and rebound Feb. 15 at the JRMCC.

Both series are two-game total-point affairs.
