RCMP say two people have been arrested after a short chase and standoff at a rural property outside Prince Albert early Sunday morning.
A woman was taken into custody after police were called to a break and enter around 7 a.m. but a male suspect had already fled on foot.
It is believed he was in possession of a long-barrelled firearm.
Police tracked the suspect to an abandoned rural property about 10 kilometres north of Prince Albert a short time later.
He initially did not respond to police requests to surrender but later complied without incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
