A 32-year-old woman from Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation and a 33-year-old woman from Saskatoon are facing 25 charges after a traffic stop on Sunday.
Police located a grey Honda Civic without a licence plate that was reported stolen at approximately 4:30 p.m. near 29th Street West and Avenue J North in Saskatoon.
Officers say they arrested the two suspects and found break and enter tools, hundreds of pieces of other people’s mail and a can of pepper spray in the vehicle.
The charges include possession of stolen property over $5000, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of stolen identification and possession of break and enter tools.
The investigation is ongoing.
