RCMP say the death of a woman whose body was found near La Ronge on Dec. 23 has been determined to be a homicide.
28-year-old Sheena Marie Billette of La Ronge was found in the early morning hours on Highway 102, about 8 kilometres north of the community.
An autopsy was conducted on Friday in Regina.
Mounties are looking to determine the course of events that took place before Billette’s death.
The investigation is ongoing.
