The La Ronge Ice Wolves have completed a trade with the Humboldt Broncos.

The Ice Wolves have acquired 19-year-old defenceman Sebastien Archambault in exchange for a player development fee.

Archambault hails from Salmon Arm, B.C. and spent last season with Sicamous in the KIJHL. He had 19 points in 47 games.

Meantime, the Ice Wolves have shipped 19-year-old defenceman Jaden Wake to the Cochrane Crunch in the NOJHL in exchange for a player development fee.

Wake had five points in 31 games last season in La Ronge.

The Ice Wolves are scheduled to open the season Friday night in Flin Flon versus the Bombers. You can catch the action live on MBC Network Radio with Braden Malsbury.

The Ice Wolves will finish off their weekend when they host the Bombers at the Mel Hegland Uniplex in their home opener Saturday.
