The Moose Jaw Police Service is reviewing an excessive force complaint against a La Loche RCMP officer.
On January 2, a man suffered a broken leg during an arrest in that community.
Three days later a public complaint was made against the officer.
The complaint was investigated and deemed that the use of force was appropriate.
Yet due to the nature of the injury, RCMP has asked for an external review.
Moose Jaw Police began its review earlier this week.
