La Ronge was the site of the JRMCC Men’s Fastball Tournament over the weekend.
Six teams took part in the action and when the dust settled, the Saskatoon Merchants came out on top. The Merchants defeated the Regina Golden Hawks 3-2 and 2-0 in the double-elimination final.
For their efforts, the Merchants took home $3,300. The Golden Hawks earned $2,100 and the third-place Shellbrook team walked away with $1,100.
The action took place at the JRMCC Sports Grounds.
