The La Ronge Ice Wolves have signed 2000-born forward Kyle Ford for the upcoming season.

Ford is from Calgary, AB and spent last season in the KIJHL with the Fernie Ghostriders. In 48 regular season games, Ford had 42 points and 65 penalty minutes.

“I love being the instigator/aggressor out there on the ice,” said Ford. “It’s just what I find being one of the more fun ways to play hockey.”

Ford will be coming to the Ice Wolves with 2000-born defenceman Sawan Gill, who signed with La Ronge last week.

“Me and Sawan Gill played together last year and we have been friends for probably three or four years or so by now,” said Ford. “I’m excited to be up there with him.”

Ford is the eighth new player to commit to the Ice Wolves for the 2019-20 SJHL season.
