The provincial government has appointed Murray Pelletier as a judge to the provincial court in North Battleford.
Pelletier is a member of the Cowessess First Nation.
He received a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007 and started as a lawyer with Legal Aid Saskatchewan. He also worked with Sunchild Law Office.
Most recently, Pelletier worked with the Public Prosecution Service of Canada in the Saskatchewan region.
