Saskatchewan’s Information and Privacy Commissioner is once again taking the Northern Village of Pinehouse to task for failure to comply with a freedom of information request.

This time the infraction concerns a request for any and all expenses paid for by the village regarding two personal trips to Pinehouse involving Finance Minister Donna Harpauer in 2016 and 2018.

The freedom of information request was made to Pinehouse on Jan.18.

In his report, Information and Privacy Commissioner Ronald Kruzeniski notes a number of phone calls and emails from his office to the village office were not responded to.

This is the 16th report the commissioner has issued on Pinehouse.
