The National Aboriginal Hockey Championships officially kicked off today in Whitehorse, YT.
Saskatchewan’s male team will open up the round-robin portion of their schedule against Team Alberta this afternoon.
Meantime, Saskatchewan’s female squad has a date with Team North tonight following the opening ceremonies.
The relegation round and semi-finals take place on Saturday, while the medal round in slated for Sunday.
