Black Lake RCMP say a male canoeist has died after falling into a body of water Sunday night.
Police say the accident happened about 50 kilometres north of Points North.
Officers say two men were in a canoe when it overturned with one man making it to safety.
They searched the shoreline locating the body of the second man.
RCMP are not releasing the name of the deceased and the investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
