The La Ronge Ice Wolves continue to add to their roster for the upcoming 2019-20 SJHL season.

The Ice Wolves say 2000-born forward Bryce Trimmer and 2000-born defenceman Kalem Hanlon have committed to the team.

Trimmer is from Calgary, AB and tallied 40 points in 49 games with the Golden Rockets of the KIJHL this past season.

“I believe Bryce brings a great attitude with good leadership, but he’s also a very hard worker,” said Ice Wolves Head Coach and GM Kevin Kaminski. “He’s great on the cycle, he’s a heavy hitter, he can score goals and he can make plays.”

Hanlon is also from Calgary and recorded 19 points in 34 games with the KIJHL’s Nelson Leafs last season. Hanlon took part in La Ronge’s spring camp in Saskatoon at the end of April.

“He’s a very smart player — good hockey IQ, very good skater, moves the puck very well,” said Kaminski. “We look forward to him on defence, to join in the rush, to create a second wave of offence.”

Meantime, the Ice Wolves will host their annual golf tournament on June 8 at Eagle Point Resort.
