A La Ronge athlete is competing at the Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, AB.
Michio Green has been taking part in biathlon and cross-country ski events.
“It’s been an amazing experience so far,” said Green. “Especially with all the provinces and territories coming together and being able to talk to everyone.”
Green says once the games finish, he has his sights set on another competition.
“I’m planning on attending biathlon nationals, if I can do so academically, since I’m still attending university,” said Green.
Green’s best finish was fifth with his biathlon team in the 3 x 7.5-kilometre relay race.
The Canada Winter Games finish on Sunday.
