Donations continue to pour in for the Carry the Kettle Nakota Nation following a devastating fire, which destroyed the water treatment facility Monday.

On Wednesday, the Kahkewistahaw First Nation donated 80 new 19.5 liter water bottles and a Go-Fund-Me page was established Tuesday, raising nearly $1000.

Carry the Kettle remains under a state of emergency and is still seeking for further water donations.

The First Nation says it is hoping to have some form of water service restored by Monday, as it is working with an engineering firm to set up a temporary water plant.

Carry the Kettle says it could take two years for a new water treatment plant to be constructed.
