Two men from Grandmother’s Bay out for a snowmobile ride to Stanley Mission Saturday had to be rescued.
Stanley Mission RCMP say the pair riding on one snow machine experienced mechanical problems.
The two men walked for several hours until they came upon a shelter. Both took refuge overnight.
They were located Sunday morning near Cow Island on Mountain Lake by the local search party which comprised of Canadian Rangers from La Ronge.
The men were reported to be very cold, but otherwise in good condition.
