RCMP say a 24-year-old woman from the Pelican Lake First Nation has been charged with murder after police discovered the body of a man in a residence on the reserve Monday.
Police say they were called to the residence following a report of an altercation between a male and female.
Upon arriving, they found a 39-year-old man deceased and a woman with minor injuries.
The victim has been identified as Nathan James Bill of Pelican Lake First Nation.
An autopsy was conducted in Saskatoon on Tuesday.
Donya Hope Lewis has been charged with second-degree murder.
She appeared in Spiritwood Provincial Court Tuesday and is due to appear again on Feb. 12.
Police say Lewis and Bill were in a domestic relationship.
