A woman from the Onion Lake First Nation has been arrested for being unlawfully at large and a number of other charges.

Members of the Onion Lake RCMP and the Crime Reduction Team were informed on Thursday afternoon that Tamarah Lee Dillon, who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, was at a residence on the Onion Lake First Nation.

Members quickly arrived at the residence and witnessed a vehicle starting to leave.

The vehicle was stopped after being boxed in by several police vehicles.

Drugs were found in the vehicle and the subjects were apprehended.

Tamarah Dillon was returned to federal custody and is charged with obstructing a peace officer, break and enter, theft and driving while disqualified.

Krysta Dillon has also been charged with operating a vehicle while being pursued by police, break and enter, theft and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

Both women are scheduled to appear in Lloydminster provincial court on Monday.
