A forensic pathologist is today conducting an autopsy on human remains found in Fort Qu’Appelle Sunday.
Police believe the remains to be that of Gary Pelletier who was reported missing on October 18.
The area where the remains were found is close to the southeast area of Echo Lake in the muskeg.
Authorities say a search of the area has recovered several items of interest.
RCMP say they have notified Pelletier’s family of the discovery.
